Hey guys, i was wondering if anyone can help me out with some info in adjusting the throttle cable.
i know my idle is high becasue of this, since i jumped it off the track behind the TB and it idled fine, at 1000rpm ( bit bumpy and lumpy with no Balance shafts)

i was wondering if anyone could help me out with some info on how i can adjust and set the idle by messing with the throttle cable

thanks guys

Chet

if you jumped it off the track... then you already know how to adjust it.

The cable should have no tension in it at idle... the TB should be fully closed. Just adjust the cable to be as tight as possible, but not pulling on the butterfly.

well my BISS is not it, its turned all the way down

its my cable
i guess ill just adjust the nut on the spring

no... not that.

dont mess with the TB unless something was already tampered with.

cant you just loosen the 2 bolts holding the cable bracket on the intake mani, and slide it back a bit to loosen it? Or is it already as loose as it can be?
