Adjusting Projector Headlight

Hello I have a 1999 rs.
I bought some halo projector headlights for it and installed them the other day.
My problem is I got the driver side headlight to shine right,but the passenger side just doesnt want to do anything I tell it to.
Either way I turn the screw.
Ill turn it one way and it will go down but start going back up before it gets low enough.
And I also noticed that when I watch the leveler on it I can see the whole inside moving as well. "driver side didnt do this".
Does anyone have any ideas of why it might be doing this or how to fix it?

Have you just been adjusting the headlights by looking at the level? or did you try and shine them against a wall while on an even surface to line them up?

ive been using a wall and just noticed that the level was also not acting right and at one point when i turned it so far in one direction while i was turning it my screwdriver touched the frame and i got some sparks .
i dont care about that i just want to be able to see

As much as I don't like people touching my car, should I just bring it somewhere and have them straighten out my little problem?
I wouldnt even know where to go though.

I am having the same problem after an accident...my headlights shine right at the ground. My brights don't shine as well as the regular lights used to! I have some projectors I wanted to put in, too, so I'd be very happy to see some info in this thread!

^^ Well, if one headlight isn't cooperating and the other one did. Sounds like one is a defect, I will say.. Aftermarket Projectors suck for light output and trying to angle it like projectors are suppose to be is just a Son of a bi***.. Wasting your time..

As, for you.. the guy below, First problem.. your car was in an accident, clearly the reason why you can't get it to do anything, frame can be bent or knocked something loose in the assembly itself, you ll need to probably replace those headlamps..

There has to be something i can do with this problem im having.
im thinking maybe the adjustment screw came loose from inside.
could this be it?
anyone know a place that will check it out for me?
would a state inspection station look at it?

This sounds like a defective headlight imo. Both should level the same.....In any case I would return it and get a replacement. Even if you manage to figure out the issue now, this can be a sign of problems to come in the future.

yeah i know what your saying i just dont want to take off my bumper and take it out and wait for another one to get here. id have one halo headlight and a stock light haha
ill see what i can do and if nothing else i guess ill send it back thanks for all the help guys
