adjusting dyno tune

At the dyno the person tuning my car tuned it for 18 psi because I was on pump gas and wouldn't do anymore. I don't think there would be any problem increasing it to above 20 psi since I run premium. I don't know how far to turn it up and what I need to change in dsmlink to do this. Would I mess with the fuel adjustments at all or just timing. And how much should I adjust them. He also retarded all my timing, don't they usually advance for more horsepower?

What makes you think the guy who tuned your car wasn't correct. Whenever we talk about pump gas we are talking about premium.
If you want to raise your boost since you don't think it's a problem then do so, If you still have some injector capacity left you shouldn't have to change any DSM link settings.

I however suggest you spend some time on the DSMlink forums and learn how to use it before deciding to change the settings. Start with how to log with it and what the informations means.

Dsmlink did show signs of knock with the timing retarded that much, the thing I ddin't know was if retrarding the timing and advancing it do the same thing? Also is it not common to run more than 18 psi with those injectors?
