I AM NOT A TUNER :D Now that being said I can build the car mechanically but not much of a tuner at all. Ricky tuned my car on pump 91 because thats all I have avaliable. So as it gets warmer and the intercooler is heat soaked I do get some knock. So the question is if I add a gal of race fuel to my normal 9-10 gal of gas will that stop the knock? Or I can add a gal of Toulene. Will that mess up my tune?

What year is your gsx? Adding a gallon might do it, but its hard to say. You will have to just experiment with it and see what mix works the best. You also might need to tweak the tune to utilizes the mix better, you may even be able to add more timing. I love 100 octane I ran my best 1/4 times and had my best tune with it! I used to mix my own toluene mix race gas concoction but the prices went up and it just isn't worth it anymore. Also if you do mix toluene make sure you add alittle marvel mystery oil like a cap full or 2, it helps lubricate the mix so the toluene won't dry out seals or o-rings. How much knock are you seeing? What does your timing curve look like? Can you post a log? What kind of fans are you using? Maybe turn them always on high in link!

Every weekend I went to the track I would buy $20 of 110VP and add it to about 1/2 tank of 91 to help with any knock and lack of octane. Also let me push the car a little harder on the tune as I was able to add another 1-2 degrees of timing in different spots, but was only able to when I added the 110 with about 1/3 tank of gas

When i was in washington i added 2 gal toluene in my 92 oct i think it helped, race gas is cheaper then toluene which was $20 per gal

I didn't use any mystery oil.

How about adding a couple gal of e85 per tank? That worked for me.

I can tell from experience adding a gallon or 2 to a tank can make a big difference it fighting off small knock occurances. You'll need to be careful though as leaded fuels will kill your 02 sensor. I know VP makes some pretty good unleaded fuels.
