Hey everyone. I took the AC system out of my car. I am going full ricer and throwing underglow on the car and want to make the toggle switch "hidden". my plan was to use the old AC button to power the lights on and off. Does anyone know if that button is a constant power switch or is it a momentary switch like the cruise?

Its constant. Pull it out and test it with a DMM. That button supplies the voltage to the compressor clutch to stay engaged.

I agree on the load issue, so use the button to operate a relay for any load it is used on.
