I read that the ABS wouldnt work when you plug the pocketlogger in the connector by the drivers foot. This is a 91 talon AWD btw.

Well I got my logger yesterday and plugged it in today and went for a short drive. It has just snowed some here and I am still on summertires so it was kinda slippery, just drove the small road around the property here. Anyway...the ABS worked just fine eventhough logger was connected and was reading the ECU. I tried the brakes and it was not just the lamps that were off, the ABS really worked as it should.

How come? Everwhere it says that the abs wont work with logger connected?

EDIT: Maybe not a tuning question but since its connected to the logger i posted here, mods pls change place if its wrong.

If you start the car and then plug in the logger, abs will work. If you try starting the car with the logger plugged in it will set the abs into diagnostic mode. Not sure if this works the same on a 2g.

only 92+ car's have ABS diagnostics. Since your car is a '91, the ABS will always work no matter when you plug the logger in.
