abs light on intermittently

Is there any common issues that cause the abs light to come on. It comes on sometimes and stays on until the car is restarted then it stays off. It seems like it is coming on more often as of late. I just got the car a week ago.

Most of my abs issues could be traced to wheel sensors being dirty or the connections corroded. Inspection and cleaning usually solves it, but an ohm meter may be useful if it persists.

As for the ABS issue, I would try cleaning the sensors also, could just be a fair amount of brake dust causing them to throw a bad reading and triggering the light.

If this gets worse I think the logical thing is a sort of re-wire.

I drove it all the way home yesterday and the light did not come on. I will try cleaning the sensors this weekend and see if it helps. Thanks guys.
