About to purchase dsmlink!!!

Alright, I have a few questions. I've been searching for good prices and they all seem to be in the same range so I was wondering where the best place would be to get it from. I see alot of people on tuners have them and just wanted to hear their personal experiences. I noticed that dsmlink.com provides default settings for injector size and for the type of maf you run. Is this offered by any other vendors? Also, I still run a 1g maf and wondered if anybody has had any success with just hacking that and running the link just until I can afford the gm maf and translator...Thanks for your comments..

Youll probably have less hastle getting on the DSMLink forum if you go straight through Dave and Tom at DSMlink.com.

Also, if you need to have an eprom socket soldered in, no one I trust more than Dave to do it. He's like a DSM ecu god.

I had my fourm account the next day. Great information there. 1320 Motorsports is an authorized DSMLink retailer who will socket your ECU for free.

It does not matter who you get it through, they will be purchaseing it through Dave and Tom. I bought mine directly from them and had it in two days. Good choice by the way, you'll love it.

Thanks guys I think I'll probably go directly through Dsmlink.com. I've been going back and forth between getting link or a safc/logger etc.... Might as well shell out the extra bucks to get something that is user friendly and proven to work well with our cars. I just ordered an eprom ecu couple days ago so I'm hoping it will be here by at least Tuesday While ordering, I had them(Motoguys garage) socket it for me. Has anybody ever bought an ecu from them? It was the only place I could find one for my 90(didn't feel like going through the hassle of trying to convert a 91-94 eprom to mine).
