Just started doing this. The problem happened fast but progressively at the same time.

For some reason now, everytime the battery is hooked up. There is a tapping/clicking sound coming from the passenger side speaker pannel (the stereo is disconnected, just in case).

When i insert the key and turn it to ON, the tapping sound dissapears. The dashboard lights up but extremely dimm, can barely see it lights up at all. It wouldn't even bather to crank. Turbo timer works just fine!!

When i turn the key OFF the tapping sound comes back.

The battery has 11.8 volts on it. The fuses look good (might double check again though), however, the problem didn't happen immediately so i don't think that would be it.

Initially, the dashboad lite up just fine, but would fade away on any attempt at cranking. Then my MPI relay started making radical clicking sounds everytime i turn the key to ON. It doesn't make any noise at all now.

Any feedback would be hightly appreciated

Best regards!

Just got around to testing all the fuses and relays.

Found 3 fuses in the engine bay and one device that show a full short on the battery.

First fuse is the 30A IGN on the positive terminal of the battery.

2nd and 3rd fuses are 40A and 30A for BAT and H LAMP DOOR/VOLET PHARE respectively.

Also shows a full short when i connect the meth pump to the battery even thoug all the trigger switches are turned off and disconnected.

Looking for some advice please.

Does that sound like a faulty ignition switch to anyone?
