Hi guys I have searched the forum for similar problems but didn't find one so here's my thread.

My 93 eclispe n/t has an a/t which works fine when it is cold but after driving it for 30min -1 hour the reverse slips! but the forward drives runs perfectly. This is the first time I experience such a thing. The reverse drive goes back to normal when I park the car and let it cool.

thanks in advance!

If you need a new torque converter i have one for sale perfect condition that i'll sell cheap. Let me know pm me if you need it or any other trans parts.

Thanks guys for the reply!
Hey Talondude! yeah the transtune did it but but now its acting up weird again.

I'll replace the torque converter asap!

most of the time when an auto trans is slipping a lot its just becuase of the fluid level. not saying that's your problem, just saying it's worth a check...because that's a lot cheaper than a new TC. ATF expands just like any other fluid when it gets hot so if it's slightly overfull to begin with, it gets worse when it gets hot. also might wanna replace the trans. filter if you haven't anytime recently.
