A question about this 2g install kit

I had a question about the 2g install kit ssautocrhome is selling on ebay. I know that the pipe under the first one is the j-pipe. But what's the 1st pipe used for? Is it a lower intercooler pipe or something?

This is basically how it will go, Although you are going to need to modify your coolant lines, Being this kit does not look like they are included? Not too sure about the return line, Either.

yes, that pipe with the nipple is used to connect the j-pipe to a stock side mount intercooler - if you've got a front mount ic, you may not need to use it

I wouldn't trust that gasket, either. I've never had a good experience with gaskets like that, and have always just ran a layer of RTV instead of a gasket at the turbo/j-pipe connection.

Thx for the help but here's another question. I'm asuming that that oil feed line is ss but is it the one that connects to the oil filter? And, I don't know why, but it appears to be too short or am I just imagining things?
Should I buy this kit, what do you guys think?

I'm also going to get some water (coolant) lines soon. Would I have to do any bending if I was to buy some 1g water lines?

The oil feed line is most likly the one that routes to the oil filter housing. When I got mine is my previous car, It looked really small until I actually installed it.

if you go to turbochargers.com they have a complete install kit listed for 150. but actually its on sale for 125 right now. i have it and it worked perfect. it also came with a new gasket that goes between the turbo and the manifold.

I know about that kit already. It isn't complete either and it comes with a regular steel oil feed line instead of a stainless steel line.

What did you all receive with that kit? Anything alse besides the stuff in the picture?
