A few problems, PLease help!!!!

ok, i have a few problems. First of all I have a 1998 automatic gs-t with 58k miles on it. My mods are in my profile. Anyways, earlier today I was in my car and talking to my friend so my car was just idling for about 10-15 minutes. I pressed on the gas and a puff of blue smoke came out. It only did it once and while I was driving home i didnt see anymore smoke. Could this be because my pcv valve probably has never been changed? Also, when i was on the highway I floored it and my rpm's would go past 4k. I was like wtf !!!!! So i let out the gas and everything was fine after that. I got off the highway and drove the rest of the way home and everything was fine. Please help Thank You.

Check your PCV valve. If that's not the culprit, then it's probably your valve stem seals.
Check your timing and run a boost leak test for the rpm issue.

How could a boost leak randomly cause my car not to go past 4k on the highway? Also, it only did it once and hits boost pretty strong so I dont think there's a boost leak. Could it be my transmission?

Vaccum hoses expand and contract as they heat up & cool down. It'll also be dependant of how much boost you're running at the time. Run a boost leak test.
