a few problems

i got a pretty much trashed 91 eclipse it had jumped time bent all intake valves and i have no idea what else that guy screwed up . i had head reworked new valves ect reset timing and put motor back together now car will start but will not idle and when its running it revs all the way to red line throtle is not stuck open any ideas would be apprechiated

Have you messed with the idle screw? If you know your throttle plate is completely closed and the car still red lines, then your getting air somewhere such as from the idle speed control or somewhere else past the throttle.

i would also check your throttle position sensor to make sure that isnt sent the wrong signal to your ecu

thanks for the imput ill check both tomorrow i dont know what all has been messed with like i said guy i got car from is an idiot and pretty much messed up everything . also i have a hose im not shure abot its about 2 in then has about a 45 degree agle then about anouther 2 in of hose any ideas

Look below the intake manifold. A vacuum hose should go there. If it is not there, that could be the culprit you your leak.

thanks by below the manafold do you mean like fire wall side or the like in the front of inatke between head and intake

you guys are alot of help thanks alot , i pulled the throttle body and discovered no gaskets so i put in gaskets and tested the idle senson the plug tested at 284 that means replace the sensor correst ???
