Ive been building a 6 bolt motor for my buddies 97 Eagle Talon TSi AWD. I decided to post a few pics for you guys enjoyment. Im still undecided on a turbo for this motor.

Will you still be able to bolt the water pump on with the timing belt already installed?

Here are a few of my 2.4 almost ready for install.I mocked up my intake and turbo as think best to take them off for actual insertion in the car and then bolt them back up.

Mods are 2.4 6 bolt,crower rods,wiseco pistons,acl coated bearings,arp head studs,crower springs and titanium retainers,manley stainless valves and keepers,3g lifters,crower staget 3 cams,jm fab intake with nitrous bungs,gt exhaust manifold.
FP3065,tial external.,1g head,ported 1g tb.

AL92, I hope those aren't ARP accessory bolts your using for turbo bolts. They look like it, but I can't tell for sure. I used some ARP bolts and they were junk, snapped off like a grade 2 bolt.

I used ARP bolts for my manifold to head and turbo to manifold and they have help up great. I have removed the turbo and manifold several times using the studs and bolts without incident. I love them.

Your friend is going to be awfully pissed when he starts it and jumps time because that tensioner pulley is flipped upside down and not spinning freely. I advise when you take that belt off and install the water pump that you fix that.

I noticed that also when i put it together my friend just wanted to take a pic with the timing belt on so I just slaped it on.

Ok cool ... just making sure. I noticed you had all the marks lined up so I figured you were going to try and somehow sneak the water pump in there with the belt on and just call it a day. Good luck.
