Ok i read all the other post about this and so far no help. So my problem is that i installed a narrowband o2 sensor(yea its useless, blah, blah) and for some reason its only moving when i let off the throttle, I let off it moves between red and yellow the the car seems to stop a little and the gauge reads nothing for a few seconds then the picks up again and the gauge goes back into red. When pressing the gas it reads one red bar. And from what i've read its only supposed to work(somewhat) at WOT. So can anyone help also the spark plugs have black dust on then.:dsm:

Yea the main reason i got it is to fill up my gauge pod(triple a pillar), but i would like to know if its running as lean as it says. It hasn't been anywhere near green at all and my exhaust smells like straight gas(might be from full 3 inch exhaust and no cat:D):dsm:

I was also wondering if this might be a sign of a bad o2 sensor?:dsm:

I was planning on buying a logger because no one around here has one. And im not 100% sure if its wired to the ecu correctly. I connected it to the middle wire on the top of 22 pin connector and its the 6th wire from the left and right color is white.

The ECU actually reads a reversed voltage setting, while some of the narrowband O2 displays will read a direct. When you're actually running really rich, the sensor will read lean. This seems to the be the case in your situation.

The sensor may also be fouled, but you will need a logger to check the condition of the sensor and related signals or use a voltmeter and follow a Hanes manual.

Also, I am not familiar with the 2g, but I believe they have two sensors. Make sure you have not tapped off the sensor behind the cat or it will give even more useless information. ;)

i would like to tap directly into the wire coming off the actual sensor but i dont know what color wire to tap blue, white or one of the black wires right now its connected to this.

Nope it only has three wires coming ou the back of it, red/black/gray. Its a glowshift gauge not sure if that helps at all.

Advance Auto Parts A/F gauge....seriously man dump the thing, its not worth anything. And for anyone on here trying to make it worth something you can't.

Honestly throw it out and search for a Wideband o2 you will be much better off
