I've installed a bosch 044 inline fuel pump under my car and am wondering if the power and ground terminals need to be covered with something to avoid contact with water. As it sits, they're completelyl exposed. If I need to cover them, would that liquid electrical tape work?
Also, I had my valve cover fabbed up with (2) 1/2" hose fittings for ventilation purposes. Unfortunately, they were placed so close to my coolant housing that I can't take my fill cap off to fill the car up with fluid. (It's completely empty, as I just did a rebuild). Can I fill the system by disconnecting the top radiator hose and dumping it into the housing via that hose? Is there a better way than this?
Thanks for the help guys
