A chance to buy a S-AFCII

Some one is selling me a Apex'i S-AFCII for 100 bucks, it's been on the car for about 2 days so it's fairly new...I'm thinking of purchasing it, But would i need this mod if i get a T-28, raise the boost and put 550cc injectors? Maybe use it as a tuning devise for now. I think i should get it anyway cause it's cheap

Use the 12 volt battery and you are also supposed to ground a black and a brown wire. One time the brown one wasn't getting to good ground and I was trippin' out for like a day because it kept switching on and off.

without a fuse in between the positive to the 12v bat, you can most likely burn out the safc...
BUT a quick 10sec connection wouldn't hurt
