A/C Compressor Swap

The A/C system on my car has never worked, turns out its a dead compressor. I recently acquired a 95 RS can't really remember with a working A/C but that's about all it has going for it...

My question is, will the compressor for a 95 RS fit and work on a 96 GS-T?

I don't think it will. You have to look at both of them but I think they are different

This is for a 1G. Do you think it matters if the stock A/C compressor gets filled with 134a AC gas?
Last time it exploded the valves on the pipe,It always got really hot in the pipes that are supposed to be cold. What could cause this?
