a/c compressor swap, hoses dont fit

i spent the weekend swapping a 97 4g63 into my 96 spyder. everything is perfect except the a/c hoses dont match up. i read in some searches the 95/96 have one style and the 97 is different. my old compressor has been seized since i bought the car so i have to use the 97 compressor. if i find 97 hoses will they bolt right up?
im in florida so i need this to work. thanks in advance

The hoses are different indeed... Go get some 97-99 hoses and be happy

Yes, they will bolt up. Also if you are careful you can twist the tubing enough to make the 96 hose fit the 97 compressor! I have done this before. I put a 95 hose on a 99 system. Just got to do some twisting and bending of the hose end

thank you for the help. ill get new ones. it gets hot here! nice to have the answers before i spend time and money.
