Hey guys,

i own a 1999 DsM spyder 2.4 engine i will be turbo-charging my car very soon i know i have to use most GST/GSX parts as a BOLT ON. my question is i ONLY WANT 7-8 PSI max just for a little more fun i was going to do the stock T25 turbo With all stock parts from GST. i have a Guy selling a T28 turbo which looks kinda the same i dont know if it will fit? So what turbo should i get for around 7 PSI boost?

T25
T28
14B

please anyone that could give an opinion and tell me about the T28,T25 and 14B differences i would really appreciate it .:thumb:

thanks guys:rocks:

Since this is right up my alley, and I am doing the same thing with my awd talon. I am trying to do a "budget" 4g64 hybrid with 63' head. My garage was broken into and needed to replace some parts and that set me back a few bucks and in return i couldnt buy low comp pistons or rods. Anyway, how many of you are using the stock 64 pistons? How friendly has it been with what psi your running? Would it be a bad idea to use a thicker head gasket to lower compression, flycut bigger valve reliefs and or mill down the pistons so much and then do the mathmatical formula to find what your new c/r is going to be?? Remember that not all of us is out to drag race, run 500hp or anything like that.. Just want some more torque with the 4g64 but on a more budgett type.
I have a stage3 chip from Jeff and need to figuire out the compression part of this so I can get my chip re-burned for the corect timing maps etc...

I have read alot about the turbo pt cruiser pistons in the 4g64, but no one realy got back to report their outcomes with them.. If my research was right, then they shared the same piston as the 03 srt4?? But dont quote me on that... I found these 03 04 05 DODGE NEON SRT4 SRT-4 STOCK OEM PISTONS 2.4L : eBay Motors (item 160394848831 end time Feb-12-10 14:04:01 PST) Anyone know the wrist pin size/location.. I tried to find out, and I asked the seller for the infor but he hasnt gotten back to me??

Anyway, just trying to find viable options for lower compression pistons with out the $500 price tag..

hey i did the swap a few monthes back. it really is easy if you can use a wrench its pretty much plug and play. i run a 13t td04hl turbo from a jdm rvr motor. i run 10 psi with a ported 2g manifold, ported o2 housing and stock gst exhaust. i have a 97 which is more involved with wiring then the 98-99's and i did it in about 2 hours. i also use a eprom ecu which made things alittle more interesting. make sure you wire in the knock sensor and iac right or you will not see much power after 4 grand. from what i have noticed is my tubo spools around 22oo rpms and run flat on its face at 4500rpms. if i was you i would get a 16g and run the boost souce from the j-pipe to the actuator that should yield around 10psi with no creep. that way you have air up top and dont starve it during wot pulls like i do. if you need any help with this let me know i could walk you threw it every step of the way.

good luck and have fun..

ps i spent $300 since i had a 98 gsx donor car..yay
wiring the resistor pack is the easiest part.
google search 4g64 turbo and click on 4g64.150 or whatever it is.
if you need parts let me know i have a few items that could help you out.
injectors,ecu etc.
