i'm trying to upgrade my 90 eclipse gsx front brakes. i searched and found this quote
"Owners of all '89-92 DSMs and '93+ non-AWD models (including 2G) can upgrade to 'Big Brakes'. '91-92 Galant VR-4s and all '93+ AWD cars come with 'Big Brakes' from the factory."
so i ordered 98 gsx hawk brake pads and power slot rotors. then i found out that 94 gsx calipers have a different part number than the 98 gsx calipers.
my question is, are they the same? would it fit on my 90 gsx? thanks

The difference in the two calipers you listed have to do with the style of brake lines used not in the brake pads or rotors. If your looking for the calipers stick with the VFAQ and looks for calipers using the 1G style threaded brake hoses and not the 2G style banjo fittings unless you want to get custom stainless brake hoses to make them work.
