i have a 98 gst and i just picked up an engine to build outside of the car my parts list is:
98 thrustwasher type 4g63 long block
92 6 bolt head
spare 95 7 bolt head
eagle forged crank stock stroke
20g turbo
manley rods and wiesco pistons coming soon
1g throttle body and intake mani
2g fuel rail
tubular exhaust mani with external wastegate
stage 3 brian crower cams coming soon
beehive valve springs and retainers coming soon
3 angle valve job coming soon
arp headstuds
arp rod bolts
arp main bolts
cometic head gasket
fmic
aem uego wideband
aem truboost boost controller
apexi turbo timer

now im shooting for 500hp and i believe im on the right path but my real question is that i have heard that the 6 bolt head has better flow than the 7 bolt due to bigger ports so what i wanted to do to keep the cost down and keep it simple is put the 2g cam sensor on the 1g head and the put the 1g head on my 2g block and i wondering how easy is this to do and how effective would it be and please dont tell me to just put a 6 bolt in it because im not scared of crankwalk and i already have over a grand into this build and does this sound like a bulletproof 500hp engine build?

Skip the BC cams and get a set of Kelford 272's! Stock crank will be fine unless your doing a stroker motor. Also might as well get manley pistons because you can save a little bit of money buying the same rods/piston combo.

I would just go with the 2g head, it will get you to your goals just fine. With the 2g head you will be able to use the 2g water pipe, thermostat housing, stock 2g intake with coil and transistor.

are kelfords really that much better than bcs? and im shooting for a bulletproof 500hp motor and i picked up the forged crank with acl race bearings for 350 the race beearings are like 120 new so i just bought it LOL and it just seems that wiesco pistons are much more advanced than manley so thats why im making that choice plus i never hear of people running manley pistons...

and so keep the 2g head just use the 1g throttle body?

Why would you use the 6 bolt head...... most people swap to the 7 bolt head because of the more efficient/higher velocity ports.

i would go 7 bolt head . it makes your life easer with the water pipe, plus on my 7bolt head i ported theres a ton of room to port the exhaust side and a little on the intake side . with out porting would be fine but why not port it wile its apart . and yes kelford are much better then bcs

isnt porting really expensive though? ive heard it can go from 5-800 dollars and idk im just going with what ive heard but now i have a full 7 bolt motor a 7 bolt head and a 6 bolt head intake and throttle body sitting in my living room... place is starting to get a little crowded...
