Ok as the post states i am wanting to do a trans swap on my tsi fwd auto. well i have a 96 tsi fwd 5 speed just no motor. My question is has anyone done this or that can point me in the right direction. I would think i would have everthing i need pedals trans shifter etc. But maybe i need more so if anyone could tell me what i need or what i have to do to do the swap would be thanked.

It's not that hard, the hardest part is going to be the petal assembly. But you are going to need the petal assembly, 5 speed trans, master cyl, clutch line, shifter cables, the shifter plate( i don't know the technical name) and then the clutch flywheel and pressure plate
