97 GST Where does it go?

So I just bought this 97 GST and I am finding things that look like they need to go somewhere or need to be connected.

There are some pictures hope someone knows what they are and where they go?

The one picture is of a cable that has seen to been spliced, please let me know what it is and if I need to wire it back together. thanks in advanced.

The first pic kinda looks like the reverse switch light, does your reverse lights work. The other two I cant remember.

1st pic could be a number of things from the IAC, starter solenoid, etc.

2nd pic with the oval is the capacitor, #20 in the below linked thread.

The item pictured in the circle I'm not familiar with at this time.

The really small black clip looks like the capacitor plug. (also referred to as the noise condenser)

long skinny plug is the capacitor/ noise condenser and the other looks like your evap purge solenoid check here to see a previous post on all your connections 2g Engine Bay Electrical Connections - DSM Forums also you need to get some rust preventative paint on all that rust asap just my .02

Thanks guys, the guy you had it before me cut the piece so have to get a new one and about the rust I know, this car has a lot of work to be done.
