I just got my car out of the shop. The greddy type S bov is atmosphere vented. Now I know that that is wrong and I want to fix it because I am expereniencing fuel cuts especially on first gear i cannot go over 2000-2500 rpm. The only problem is that I cannot find a hose/tube that will fit the large opening on the Greddy type S BOV and a small opening on the other side that will fit the small hole on the Injen intake. Please help. Thanks.

Havnt look in any hardware stores because i think it is impossible to find what im looking for, i will draw a picture and post it up in a couple of minutes. I do not have the stock but even if I did it wouldnt work at all because the stock tube is too short, and it has the big openings on both sides. Thanks.

I tried to draw what i need (the tube from the BOV to the injen intake) Notice how its big from the BOV and its small at the intake. Hopefully this help need help please :(

Luvmygst: your right I have two small ports one is hooked up to the port on the side of the valve cover and the other one is closed by a rubber cap. So how do i go about this?

also is the reason why i cant go above 2000-2500 rpm on first gear and like 3500 on 2nd gear? the fuel cuts off even if i put the pedal to the metal.

If you dont have the big port for the blow off valve recirculation tube than it would be easiest to buy a new one that has what you need. Or you could cut a hole in your existing intake pipe and weld on pipe that is the diameter that you need for the recirculation tube.

Fuel cut can come from other reason. Venting does not cause you to fuel cut like that because I have had my car vented for about 3 months till I changed to a Type S and recirculate it.

I have not experience fuel cut before but my friend has and it was from boosting more than he should. We lower his boost which fix it but that was off a Toyota Supra.

oh ok, then this might be the problem because the shop also said that it was running 16 psi but i dont know how because it doesnt have a wastegate on it and it doesnt have a boost controller. Only a greddy boost controller solenoid.

This shouldn't be hard. There's port on the intake for your BOV recirc. tube .It's in the same location as it was on the stock intake. Just go to Home Depot or the like and get the right size hose, nothing else too it.

Get a new intake pipe which have the recirculation and get a radiator hose at autozone and hack it to fit. Then get some clamps to clamp it tight. That is what I did and it works perfect.

To lower the boost get a manual boost controller also I suggest having a boost gauge to monitor how much you boost.
