97 elcipse gst intake problem

Okay i got a new intake on my 97 eclipse gst spyder and it has two ports on the one side that i just hooked up the hoses to. THen i hooked up the bov to it as well. But on the other side there is a very tiny port and i seen they sent me a small red hose for it but i dont know where to hook it up to because the stock one did not have one. I seen on the internet someone ran a small air filter or like breather filter. Here is a pick of what it looks like on the side with the small port.

The small tube that is on the front side of your intake goes to the turbo solenoid, and the one on the backside of the intake goes to the breather on your valve cover. Hope this helps

Yeah what Patrick said, The 2 in the back (one goes to the nipple of the VC and the other goes to that emission crap thing.

The one in the front is for the bcs, which you could just cap off and run the line form the wastegate to the compressor cover.

okay well i have it hooked up just like the stock one. the one goes to the bov on the top of the intake. then the first one goes somewhere under the battery just like the stock one.then the port next to that one goes to the valve cover. then the other port or nipple is just there small and by it self not hooked up at all. im not really sure where to hook it to on the turbo or where ever.

okay i have a manual booost controller that has two hoses, but other then that im not sure where it goes still

OK.

The front LITTLE NIPPLE that is at the INTAKE. Run a Hose to the Stock solenoid. like the picture #7 show, (red hose).

The solenoid has two Nipples, Top and Bottom. hook the hose to the top Nipple and plug the Bottom one.

and that's it.

Now, How is your Manual Boost Controller Hooked up.
Any pic will tell beter.

Take a nice pic of the set up to see how it is.

No, It won't, but, If you don't have DSMLink, It will throw a CEL.

You will have the check engine light at all times, so you won't notice if something is going on, which having the light on, there is no way you know if something is going on with your car, Unless is something notorious.

If you don't mind to have the check engine light on, Then, just plug it up.

Alright cool thank you, I don't have anything running to mine and have never got a CEL from it but I do have a scanner and the only code I have now is from no cat.

Then, Maybe you already have the Solenoid plugged.

On 2g's, It will throw a CEL if you have it Unplugged.

On a 1g's, It will not throw a cel.

I capped off the really small one, and then capped off the one to the valve cover port on the intake and put a mini filter on the valve cover.

It goes to the boost solenoid under your intake on the body near the front of the car.

You have to check the filter so frequently to clean it up, It can be soak of oil and spay all over the engine.

I used to have it that way, But I end it up putting a catch can.
