Ok here’s the deal, I did a six bolt swap on my 97 awd auto. Got it wired up and it starts w/ no check engine light and runs awesome. Now here is the problem, the damn thing wont move. I thought it was the pump, so I put a new one in, and nothing. So what I need from you is what else could it be? Also the trans has like 1k miles on it, and is build.( so I was told)

Please help I am about to blow this car up!!!!

Can you be a little more specific? When you shift through the gears, can you feel and/or hear the linkage moving? I assume you've already checked the fluid? Does the engine rev as quickly in gear as it does in neutral, or does it seem like it's trying to go?

^^Its and auto. Did you take the trans out when you swapped engines? If so did you change the torque converter to a 6 bolt one? When you put into drive what does the car EXACTLY do be more specific abou that?

the trans is a 2g trans w/ 7 bolt torque converter and a kiggly kit. when i shift throught the gears i feel the shifter click in to each gear but it doesnt do anything, as in i dont feel it engage. and it revs the same in park reverse drive and what ever gear i am in.

i was told i need to use a 7 bolt converter (by ipt) with the swap.

what do you think?
