97-99 GSX (M/T) engine harness in 95 GSX (M/T)

I was wondering about the 97-99 GSX M/T engine harnesses, will they work on a 95-96 GSX? For some reason the interior harness, located under the dashboard doesn't match up, well at least with my SRS Diagnostic box. I would like to replace both (engine and the one under the dash), any takes?

If you're replacing both harnesses, it will work fine. There will be some modifications you need to do on it. The CAS plug is on the passenger side for the 2GB versus the driver side on the 2GA. The plugs are different for the relays behind the radio. I'm pretty sure the harness will mate to the body harness fine. If you have them both, try to compare them side by side.

Yea I would first try to compare them side by side before going into it. Might be slight modifications but they cant be to hard. Just try to check each connector and see if they are the same. As VR4 said, i think under the hood everything should be exactly the same.

If you compare the Harness.
Both harness are different. (connector Wires).
If you see at the connectors 2ga (wires are on one side) which the same wire colors are on the other side from the 2gb.
If you see at the connectors where the Harness connectors attached to (Behind the Radio) ,,, It has the wire colors matching both Harness 2ga and 2gb (same location wire colors for both harness).

Harness are plug and play.

I replaced My 2ga Harness with a 2gb and All what I did is to modify the Cam Sensor wiring.
That's it.
