I just finished putting a 1g head and turbo on a 96 spyder gs. I installed a 96 tsi ecu including running the knock sensor wire to pin 78 and running a power wire to pin 82. With the turbo ecu the car has spark and fuel to the rail but injectors won't work. The ecu is getting a cam and crank sensor signal but injectors will not fire. I put in the 450 injectors, 2g resistor pack, and the injectors have power. If I put back in the non turbo ecu the car starts up fine. I tried another ecu from a 95 gsx that I know works and it still wouldn't start.

All of the instructions I have found for the turbo ecu swap were for swapping it into a 98-99 spyder gs. Does anyone know if I need to do anything different to get the turbo ecu to work in a 96 spyder 2.4? Thanks

:confused:So i see you have a 96 spyder well im looking to buy a 98 spyder gs and wanted to know do you have to use the 1g head and is this motor stronger than the 420a? what is need to turbo the 4g64? and why dont we have a 4g64 section on this site?
