Recently bought a 96 Eclipse GS-T Spyder and I'm fairly new to DSM.
Previous owner said it was recently rebuilt and all it needs is timing, I figure he's not being too honest because of the price I got it for but I'm wanting a project car anyways. now I have the time being off work because of Corona virus.
Anyways rather than doing the timing is there anything I should check for or look at before doing the timing and hoping it's not completely screwed

...I had the same 'project car' idea back in March and my list of parts/repairs has ballooned higher than my unemployment check
