96 fwd tsi all stock runs but wont idle

h,i i have a 96 talon fwd tsi, car starts right up, but you have to hold the gas pedle down or it dies it will fire right up again but same thing can anyone help

Check the Biss screw ( on the throttle body ) to see if its backed out \ missing \ or if the o-ring is missing \ broken.

Reason i got a good deal on my 2nd talon.

I assume by hold the gas pedal down, you meen slightly. If you need to stab and pump the gas to start it, thats a whole nother issue. Mayby a bad fuel filter\pump.

You may also want to check your TPS. Is the CEL on?
