Ok i need some help my 96 eclipse gs idles low only while in drive and only when stoped i allready replaced the iac tps cleaned the throttle body oil filter and oil changed spark plugs wires just had the head gasket done the timing belt the tensioner and pulleys arp head studs
it is driving me crazy if i put it in neutral it goes back up to 800 any help would be appreciated
sorry for the mass of info just figured it would be easier if you knew what was already done thanks in advance
also it has a cold air intake

More info is always better. Is the low idle rough or just unusually low? are you getting any CEL's?

You said that the headgasket and timing belt were recently done. I'd double check the timing to be 100% sure that it's correct. Another thing that lots of people forget to do is to bleed the coolant system which can cause an air bubble that freaks out the coolant temp sensor and throws off the fuel trims leading to rough/low idle
