2g n/t excessive vibration while in idle

Hey guys,

Whenever im driving(2G N/T AUTO) and hit a stoplight my car seems to vibrate a lot. When im in idle i can put the car in nuetral and the vibration will go away. I changed out the rear and front motor mount,passenger side mount looked good so i didnt mess with it. I did see another mount that was under the battery on the drivers side so im assuming that might be the trans mount? That definately looked dry rotted, cracked and old so i wanted to know if that indeed was the trans mount or if there some other issues im not aware of.

Yes that is indeed the trans mount... And mostlikly the cause.

Do you have any suggestions on where to get the part? Ive done some searching online but other websites/deals you know of would be helpful.

You could just fill it with urethane.

I was thinkning about doing that but I wasnt sure how well that route is. Any experiance going about it that way?

if you have no mods then just get an oem replacement. its defintely the trans mount tho.

You can find a trans mount either at your local parts store such as autozone, but me personally would give a look on ebay.

Yeah no mods other than a intake,coil and wires,its a waste of money on my end since its a rs. I wont see much power gain. Saving to get a gs-t or a gsx though.
