Hi ok well i brought my 95 talon tsi about 2 weeks ago and it was running like crap and it needed a head gasket so i replaced it and timing is now dead on. so ive tried to start it and it just doesnt crank over, so i checked compression and there was only 60. the engine was rebuilt with new short block that only has a lil over 500 miles. Is this the head?? thanks

Take the Valve Cover off to see if there is any Visible Damage. Our Cars can Start with Pretty low Compression, May not run all that well but will kick over. Are you Getting Fuel and Spark Also.

I just Had a problem where I took my valve cover off and blew the rods right off my intake side. I bent all 16 valves.

You may have a bent valve.
