Okay, i have my 95 talon tsi which i recently broke my 3rd gear shift fork/rail or somethin (havent taken it apart yet). Well anyways, i am pretty short on cash right now but just found a GREAT!! deal on an 82k mile old fwd tranny, act 2600, flywheel, axles, etc... until i get money to rebuild the awd trans. What else do i need for the fwd swap, and how much power will a fwd trans handle? I know its going to spin a LOT since from a roll i spun through 1st with the awd :thumb:

Okay so i am in need of a response to this. I've swapped a fwd trans into a 1g awd before but this is my 1st 2g.
Are the shifter cables the same, whats the difference between the fwd/awd flywheel/clutch assemblies, will i only have to switch the axles/slave, how much power will a stock 2g fwd trans hold?

Would appreciate a response before tomorrow :)
