the 3 bolt to 4 bolt wasn't bad. taking the 3 bolt end caps off was a pita. I have to get a harmonic balence puller to take it off. You should get two people to do that 4 bolt rear is heavy and very hard to put in by yourself. It took a few hours to do.

If the 4 bolt rear end came out of an automatic car that might be why it is doing that. I broke 4 rear axles and 2 3 bolt rear ends and now I have a 4 bolt and a welded center diff. I drive it every day u might want to do that I havent had any problems out of my 4 bolt or tranny.
