Ok, I was driving my 91 TSi FWD and hit like 9 psi. Then all of a sudden i lost power and my boost gauge shot up. Now even at idle my gauge reads like 3 psi and the car wants to stall. Also I have excessive black smoke coming out of my exhaust.
 
Check all your Intercooler pipes for boost leaks...You more then likely just blew a pipe off
