4.Tsi engine harness;everything in tip top shape.

Someone please tell me a way to make this work,i also have a 95 Eprom that came with the harness i would love to get dsm link and use it.
Please HELP!?

anyone have the expertise?
HELP??????????

The A/T harness WILL work on you M/T car, you just won't be able to get your reverse lights to work after you install it. You'll also have a ton of connectors off the A/T harness that won't connect to anything, you'll just have to zip tie them back. Heres the picture of the connections that ARE NOT used under the hood, there will also be two at the ECU which would normally plug into the A/T TCU...

I did a A/T to M/T swap and took a picture of all the connectors that are unused on the A/T harness.

I missed the '95 - '96 part of the question so there will be a few things you'll have to do to get the car to run correctly. There is a CAS plug on the '95 wiring harness, same connector and everything it just isn't located in the same spot. You may have to cut the original '95 CAS connector and extend it by soldering in wires so it reaches your CAS, this I'm not 100% sure of.

man o mannn....well i checked n it seems i need to swap the cas connector from the 97 to the 95 harness, and a relay connector too. :sosad: whatt do i do? none of the 95 wires r the same color as the 97 harness..:sosad:help?n i cant find the cas on the 95 harness:(

I took a picture of a '95 CAS I had laying around, it bolts on the timing belt side of the head under the cam gear so the location on the harness is probably different than a 2gb dsm. The wiring on it is red, blue, & black on the back of a (3) prong connector, its just the connector itself thats different. On the '95 harness just look for a (3) prong connector with red, blue, & black wires going into it. Then cut the CAS connector on your '97 harness and modify the '95 harness to fit your '97 CAS plug, SIMPLE. :)

I don't know what relay your talking about, please explain and maybe I'll be able to clear up some misinformation?
