I have searched all over for this and all I can seem to find is the oppisite of what I want to know...All I wanna know is will a tranny out of a 95 fit into 90...the only thing I have seen so far that would tell me no is the splines wont line up on the transfer case..

1. You'll need a 23 spline transfere case.

2. You'll need to swap out both shifter brackets on the transmission, the seocondary bracket is easy but the main shift rod bracket will give you alot of trouble trying to get the roll pin out, especially on the older 90'. I was able to get the roll pin out of a 20k old 2G TRE tranny (with an air punch tool) but no luck with the 90', ended up buying a new 90' bracket/roll pin from TRE and call it a day.
