Hello everyone, I have a 95 talon tsi awd with 137,000 miles with new timing belt and water pump put on in Dec. So now my clutch went out,I plan on buying the act 2600 clutch and act flywheel,I been told that I need to change out the 7 bolt motor for the 6 bolt because of the 7 bolt crank walk.An should I order the jdm cyclone motor. I'm still new to the dsm game.I plan on spending around 3,500 on more part, but before I do can I use the 7bolt motor or would it be smart and buy a 6 bolt motor so any info would be great thanks again.

you will be fine with the stock 7bolt. Many people have built and run them with no problems. Crankwalk is very rare and npthing to worry about but if you are worried you can always check for how much end play you habe and go from there. If you have the money and time then by all means go for the 6bolt swap. Id stay away from the jdm cyclone engine and find a local stock 6bolt and have at it

right now the no signs of problems when i got the car me and a friend did disable the clutch switch along with a new master clutch cylinder. how do i check the end play
