95 shell 99 motor power transistor over heats.

ok so I bought a 95 eclipse gst with a knocking motor. Car ran perfect besides the knocking. Pulled the knocking motor and put a 99 7 bolt in. Car ran good for about 2 weeks with no problems at all. Then one day it just died, we checked timing and all that shit and everything was ok. We noticed when cranking it that the power transistor was sparking. When I grabbed it to take it off I burnt my hand it was that hot. I swapped it with another one I had and it ran for a couple days and then fried that Power transistor as well along with the ecu this time. Got a new ecu and another power transistor and it ran perfect again but it now fried this power transistor as well. I have pulled the harness and gone thru it completely.

Are you running the stock '99 PT, coil, CAS, CPS, and ECU? How did you handle the stock 95 CAS plug being in different place? Or did the 95 have a 6 bolt swap engine with CAS wiring and firing order changed?

the coil and pt and ecu were from the 95 motor. I honestly forgot how we did the cas I will look in the morning
