does the 95 gs-t's have like any kind of traction in first if you take off fast like racing from a dig?

A fwd car is at a big disadvantage to just about ever other platform out there.(rwd/awd/) The secret is to get all the traction you can with suspension and tires and have enough power to catch up.

Well, you know. I really agree with this for bad weather traction: snow, rain, mud, ice, etc. But when you launch hard on a dry solid surface (that is not ice), you have weight transfer to the rear. This is in a percentage amount and it rises when you accelerate harder... it can be upwards of 70%. That means that as little as 30% of the original weight pressing down on your front tires is pressing down when you fully accelerate a built up FWD.wret said:Now how is having the drive wheels under the weight of the engine a disadvantage? The weght is over the drive wheels whille sitting. The key is weight transfer. WHen you launch a fwd you are taking weight away from the drive wheels. A rwd a a distinct advantage in this respect, All the weight is being transfered TO the drive wheels. I have a mustang as well as my gst and physics aside the rwd platform has a traction advantage in a drag race. You ever seen a fwd top fuel car?
