95 gs-t build

alright i just got a 95 gs-t with a blown motor

i have a 6 bolt block that i want to use. now can i use 2g rods on a 6 bolt crank and what pistons should i get and can 1g pistons fit on 2g rods?

can i use a 1g turbo?
can i use a 1g intake?
if i am able to can i use a 1g TB?

you wanna use the six bolt rods and you can get the rods machined to fit the 2g pistons. 14b is the 1g turbo which is better then the 2g t25. i personally use the intake to match the head for example if i use a 1g head i use a 1g intake. As far as the TB use the 1g.

i dont think it will work any other way. i tried to fit a 2g intake on a 1g head since it has the MAP sensor. a 2g intake will not work on a 1g head. the ports dont line up. never tried a 1g intake mani on a 2g head though.

from what i heard i think you need to modify the map sensor or relocate it.... so you can use the 1g intake manifold

well i know the 1g pistons dont have as much compression as the 2g so what would i want to use? the 1g pistons or 2g? i know i am going to use the 6 bolt rods now i just have to get two of them cleaned up


now as fas the one g intake where do i put the map sensor? or will the motor run with out it?

and do i have to keep the 2g turbo housing because the 2g dosent have a j-pipe and it comes out the bottom on a 1g it comes out the top so do i just use the 2g housing?

any other info i will need to know for the 6bolt swap?
