95 Engine in 98 body

I'm wondering if this is a direct swap or if there will be modification needed.

I blew the motor in my '98 unfortunately and it's been sitting in the garage for a month and a half and I simply need to get it running asap, don't suggest a 6-bolt. The only available motor around is a '95.

I've heard the CAS is different. I do have the full 98 motor still, but the head bent a few valves. Not sure if I can just swap CAS's or if I should swap heads or what.

I do have DSMLink V3full if this helps.

No swapping needed, you may have to rewire you CAS however.

Yes the CAS is different from 2ga to 2gb. I would just swap in a 1g CAS and make your own harness.

All you have to do is swap the cams over from the 98 motor and use the 2gb CAS.

You could also run ECM Link and they have an option for that. I ran into the same question myself a few weeks back.

You don't even have to rewire it your self they sell a wire on ebay for that swap
