95 eclipse dsmlink problems

I just got a 95 eclipse with dsmlink in it. I didnt get the disc so i went to the dsmlink.com and downloaded the program. All that happens when i run it is everything times out. What else do i need to do for it to work?

Please use the dsmlink forums to avoid possibly helping pirated versions of dsmlink that are out there. You should get a usable username and password from the previous owner.

It is dsmtuners.com policy to refrain from answering any dsmlink specific questions that are not tuning related in an effort to reduce software piracy.

The previous owner should've given you the cable adapter for DSMLink when you got the car. That adapter contains the product key that lets you use the program. If you don't have that adapter you need to get it from them. If not, you're SOL as DSMLink will not sell you a replacement cable adapter.

ok i do have the cable so what do i do with it?

Get the serial number off of it, and send an email to the guys at dsmlink and they will hook you up with everything you need.
