So I look everywhere and even have extreme psi call Mitsubishi. I can not get my hands on a 95 cam gear the one with the metal liner so the cas sensor can pick it up. So what do I do next? Can I change cas senors to something else what'sy options?

I read on that it's an easy way I think but I don't know how to wire it up exactly

If you go with a 1g black top CAS you'll just need to purchase a wiring harness/or rewire the harness to invert the the CAS for the ECU, its much easier to buy the cable because it'll be plug and play.

If you have DSM link you'll be able to convert the signal using link, CAS harness adapters are available and give your engine bay a more OEM look because you wouldn't have to splice up wires and connectors.

This is the CAS harness adapter, one end plugs into your cam angle sensor and crank sensor the other plugs into the CAS. Below is a link to one at Extreme PSI

Ok it has to be the black top cas though? And it says adjust for about 5 degrees on the timing do you have to do so?

I don't wanna look stupid but if you don't mind me asking why does it need set at 5 degrees?
