95 awd tsi headlight problem

My right front headlight is dimmer than the left by alot its almost an orange color. I switched the bulbs around to see if it was bad but its the same thing. then, when I turn the brights on, the right headlight completely goes out and the left works fine. tips? I may just hardwire the headlight with the other one if I cant fix it.... Thanks

Check and make sure youre getting a solid ground on both headlights.

Check the socket for the dim side. DSMs have lousy plastic for the headlight terminal holders.
