This turned into one of those mods that only a warped mind would follow through with.
Just the cost of the 828 Superflux LEDs required is over $400.
Here's a brief run down on the parts.
828 each SuperFlux LEDs mounted SMT-style in 22 separately activated lighting sections.
26 each custom-etched circuit boards
275 each 1206 size SMT 15 ohm resistors
6 custom-built pulse width modulators
6 custom-built power supplies with 24 separately activated 9-volts outputs. Each of the 24 outputs can drive up to 80 LEDs at 70mA.
Current draw (all measured @ 13.6V)
Idle current = 30mA
Marker lights current = 1.25A (slightly brighter than factory lamps)
Brake lights current = 3.75A (noticably brighter than factory bulbs)
Full-on = 10A @100% duty-cycle (intensely bright for strobe functions)

Only "store bought" boards I used. Six of these are used to adjust the brightness of the LEDs. I heavily modified these boards for my lighting tricks.
