bleh, idk now, you guys have got me all confused on this now. both ways looks good. if you wanna paint it, paint it. as long as its not screwed up, it'll look good. LOL

I am about to get my car painted and was wondering if I should do it or not. I like the look but I don't want to do it and then possibly not like it. SO, I thought, I'll take it to a sign factory and have it wraped in vinyl. That way "if" I don't like it, I can just peel it off.

It's up to you, my car is red and I like mine stock, I had my car painted last Feb and my buddy wanted to clear coat my tails and heads with a hint of black. I refused, it looks cheap IMO but to each his own...

I like my painted center tail :)

Yeah I know I'm missing tail light bulbs... well I'm missing both pig tails! :( People wanna charge me 50 bucks for them, some more! Screw that!

Better shot. The center lights up very bright when cleaned. It just likes to attract a lot of dust on the inside! Gotta seal it up!

I think the darker colors look good painted but the bright cars don't quite look right to me. Also on a red car I think blacking out the tail lights looks better cause then there is a contrasting color. Just MO take some pics and photo shop it.

What do you guys think of a CF center piece?? I friend of mine gave me a brand new CF center piece that he had gotten from someone else and he didn't since he sold his 2g. I haven't installed it yet but do you guys think I should or is it a total no no??

I had one for my old Talon (converted to eclipse rear end) and they dont fit worth a shit. At least the one I had didnt.

Depends on the color of the car. I wouldnt do anything to it if the car was red. If it were black, Id smoke all the tails. Any other color can look good with the center piece painted but Im more of a "leave it alone" guy.

I think it would look silly on a 1G, It looks silly on a 2G Talon as well. I think it only looks good on a 2G eclipse because the tails are so thin.

I think that its looks really good on red and black eclipses, but on the lighter colors like silver and white i dont really like it, and i agree with Black Widow, it wouldnt look good at all on a 1g
