95-98 alternator different?

hey guys im putting my car back together all is left is a couple belts to put on. im putting a 95 motor in my 98 are the alternators the same? im tryna put it on and having a bit of a time. the new motor was out of a 5 speed and it was a gsx mine is a gst

help me out guys i looked on adavanced auto parts website to see if the part numbers are the same and they are i just wanted to see if anyone else had this problem

Its the same part man, whats giving you trouble doing the install?
